Review: theBalm Nude'tude Nude Eyeshadow Palette

Hey Beauties!

When it comes to eye shadow palettes I either go neutral or very colorful. I have very little of good quality or even expensive eye shadow palettes. Today's review is of higher end brand eye shadow palette that's marketed as a neutral, but still has a good variety of colored shades.

theBalm Nude'tude palette comes in cardboard packaging with magnetic closing. I don't actually understand the front design. It's a vintage style room and to me it seems boring. They could have done something more eye catching. In the palette is 11.08grams of product and the price is around  32€ in Slovenia. I've seen it cost around 38€online. In Slovenia you can buy it in some Müller stores (Celje, Ljubljana, apparently in Maribor too) and on online stores like licila.si.

The design that is inside, it's much more interesting. Essentially it presents 6 naked women and each is covered with two shades of eye shadows. It compliments theBalm retro design and looks nice. I also like that you get a big mirror.

In the palette you'll get 12 shades of eye shadows. The shades are mix of cool and warm tones from lighter neutrals to darker. Some shades are shimmery, some matte and some in between.

It also comes with double sided brush, which is a bit better than the usual sponge applicators, but useless in my opinion.

Sassy - shimmery cool white. I don't really care for this one, because I very rarely use white for inner corners. I like them to e a bit warmer. It's a good inner corner highlighter for neutral or cool toned looks.
Stubborn - shimmery warm dirty pink. Not my typical shade and a bit too light for my taste. Good for those who like softer pink looks.
Selfish - shimmery cool taupe brown. It's too cool for my personal taste, but I know this will be favorite for many of you who like taupe shades.
Sophisticated - shimmery medium cool brown (has bigger and a bit more sparse gold shimmer). This one is kind of a blah shade for me. I don't find it interesting enough plus it's also cool toned - not my usual choice.
Sexy - matte purple burgundy. One of those unique and really good quality burgundies. I really like this shade for all over the lid or to warm up the crease.
Serious - matte black. Must have for any eye shadow palette. I love using matte black shades as an eyeliner. It gives a softer look than liquid eyeliners.
Snobby - shimmery warm light yellow gold. I really like this one for the inner corners or to put on top of other shades to give a bit of warmth.
Stand-offish - shimmery peachy pink. This is my favorite for the inner corners. It's such a nice mix of pink and warm peach.
Sultry - matte warm caramel brown (yellow toned). This is one of my favorites from this palette. It's just the right shade of light and dark and amazing for the crease for warm skin tones.
Seductive - shimmery warm gold brown (yellow toned). This is by far my favorite shade of this whole palette. I adore it. It's also very unique in my collection.  I especially love the yellow tint to it.
Silly - shimmery warm dark chocolate brown (has bigger gold chunks of shimmer). This one is a total miss. It looks very pretty chocolate brown in the pan, but the shimmer doesn't transfer on the lid. It's also really hard to work with.
Sleek - matte cool very dark brown. This one is also one of those must haves for most. It's a bit too dark for my personal taste, but still nice for deepening crease.

Stand-offish, Selfish and Seductive have the most creamy wet formula with crazy good pigmentation. They are shimmery and apply very intensely.

Snobby is on the sheer side. Sophisticated is also a bit sheerer than Stand-offish, Selfish and Seductive and a bit harder in texture, still very good. Sassy and Stubborn are both nicely pigmented and apply fairly opaque for lighter shades.

All the matte shades Sultry, Sexy, Serious and Sleek are very pigmented. As with most matte formulas, these are a bit more powdery, but easy to blend and have an amazing pigmentation for matte shades.

Silly is the most disappointing from the whole range. It has hard dry formula and applies sheerer. It also has the biggest chunks of shimmer which don't really do much or add to the actual shade. This shade is a total miss in my opinion.

In general these eye shadows are of really good quality. Shimmery shades are pigmented, some really creamy and the palette in general has good pigmentation. Mattes are the most powdery and dry, but are also one of the most pigmented matte shades I own.

As per usual I took photos of some of the eye makeup that I created with the combination of these eye shadows. This way you'll get an idea as to how they look like on my skin tone.

Eye shadows last well on the lids, but for some reason they don't stay on my lids the whole day. I think it might be the fact that I started testing them, when my skin got a bit oilier. It's warmer and therefore my skin produces more oils then in colder months. If your lids are oily, they won't stay on the lid the whole day. Nonetheless, they stay perfect for around 8 hours on me with Avon eye primer underneath. After that they get a bit in the crease and also fade a bit.

If I compare them with Zoeva Cocoa Blend, I will say that the formula of eye shadows is very similar. Both shimmery shades are very wet. Mattes in Nude'tude are a bit drier to the Zoeva mattes, but both have amazing pigmentation. They also both last about the same time on my skin. I will say that Zoeva eye shadows are about 2 hours more long lasting on me.

In case of the actual shades, I personally prefer Zoeva, because there are more warmer shades and warmer shades look better with my skin tone. I do miss matte black and matte neutral medium brown shade in this palette though. Nude'tude seems more appropriate for those with neutral skin tone and those that like darker shades. It has a lot of dark shades and a mix of cool and warm shades.

In terms of price, Zoeva is more affordable, but don't get used to it. They've recently changed the price of their palettes, of course they're more expensive now. I have already stated my disgust to the brands that take their prices up for no reason (or maybe because of the popularity of their products?!), so I am not sure when they'll decide to make them even more expensive. Now they cost around 22€ and in the palette you get 15 grams of product. Nude'tude costs around 38€ and in it you get 11.08 grams of product. With Zoeva you get 10 shades and Nude'tude gives you 12 shades. It's up to you to decide which shade selection you like better and how much you wanna spend on your palette.

Without a doubt Nude'tude palette has amazing quality eye shadows (expect for Silly). Eye shadows are creamy, blend nicely and are fairly long lasting. Shade range includes some cool and some warm tones. It goes from lighter to darker shades. I do miss a bit of medium shades in the palette. I am in general impressed, but would go for a different color selection for my personal taste.

Mateja also did an amazing review of the Nude'tude palette.

I already reviewed some other theBalm products.

On my wish list is still Nude Dude palette (I think it has more of the warmer my kind of shades) and Bahama Mama Bronzer (I'm curious, because it's very hyped up). Ever since Mateja said to me that their Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long-lasting Liquid Lipsticks would probably be nice for someone with drier lips, I also have my eye on these (her review of Adoring). All the shades look pretty and it's kind of hard to decided. I think I like best Commited and Sincere.

Soft Coral Spring Makeup

Hey Beauties!

Spring is usually the time when most people love to wear a bit lighter glowy makeup to perk up the skin from winter dullness. I too seem to gravitate more towards lighter colors and especially a lot of glow in the spring time. Today's makeup is a lighter version of my usual makeup and looks pretty fresh and glowy.

On my eyes I started with beige matte shade all over the lids. Then I added lighter matte brown in the lid and darkened the outer corner with medium matte brown. I chose shimmery light peachy shade and applied it in the inner corner and all over the lid, but kept the outer corner out.

On the center of the lid I applied shimmery coral shade, which is still pretty light and sheered out. In the outer corner I used dark shimmery dark moss green shade to add slight green tint to it. Instead of black eye liner I used brown gel eye liner to make the look a bit softer.

I finished with black mascara.

On the rest of my face I used BB cream and liquid concealer. I also powdered a bit. To give my face a bit of color I lightly used matte bronzer all over my face. On my cheeks I applied shimmery coral blush with gold sheen. Then I added white pink highlighter on top of cheeks and mixed it in with blush to create really glowy cheeks.

I also wanted something soft and shiny on my lips so I created ombre lips. In the inner rim of lips I used matte orange lipstick. Then I took coral peachy lip gloss and applied it all over the lips to create that Korean like you've been sucking on popsickle look. I've been really loving wearing that kind of lip look lately.

What kind of makeup do you like to wear in the spring? Do you like shiny or bolder lipsticks?

Spring Picks: Makeup, Nail Polishes and Fragrances

Hey Beauties!

Spring is finally here. As with any season, I do change up my usual makeup routine with seasonal appropriate shades. Today I wanted to share with you my spring picks - fragrances, nail polishes and makeup. This is to give you some idea about what I like to wear and maybe inspire you to upgrade your beauty drawers with some additional products that you're searching for.

Since spring is the most scented season of them all, let's start with fragrances. Most of my perfumes fit into spring/summer category and I chose to revisit some of them with you. I have a big selection for every nose.

L'Eaupar Kenzo Eau Indigo - Knezo makes the best powdery scents. This one is sophisticated, sweet and pretty gentle, but very powdery.
Avon City Rush - a very sweet fruity scent that has quite a punch and is nice for those who like strong fruity scents.
Avon Mesmerize - very peachy sweet scent. This one is also a bit more sophisticated and gentle, but very sweet.
Avon Far Away Exotic - one of my all time favorite scents (sadly discontinued). It's very tropical and sweet. Also a bit on the powdery side. I adore it because it has coconut in it mixed with my favorite notes of sandalwood, amber and musk.
Aldo Vandini Pure White Magnolia and Cotton - is one of those very fresh cotton, but still a bit sweet scents. It's on the gentle non invasive side.
Avon Cherish - one of the more floral perfumes from my collection, but still has a very nice sweetness to it. It's on the strong side.
Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy - if you know Fantasy line, you know it's for the sweet lovers. Hidden Fantasy is on the citrus fruity sweet side. I find it good for spring, because it's still sweet, but has a bit of sweet citrus punch to it for some freshness.
Avon Outspoken Party by Fergie - I call this a more sophisticated version of Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy. It's again very sweet, but also quite a bit woody. Perfect for those who like strong sophisticated scents.
Avon Dreams - is one of my currently most used perfumes. It's described as a floral fragrance, but it also has a bit of fruitiness to it and a lot of woodiness. To me this is a very romantic gentle sophisticated scent perfect for hotter days.
Chopard Cascade - another one of my all time favorites. It's very feminine, gentle and musky floral. I like the deep musk feel to it, but in general the fragrance is very airy and powdery almost.

For my base products I like to use something that is lighter in shade as well as coverage. I've embraced a bit more of that famous glow this year, because before I was a firm believer in matte skin.

DIY BB Cushion - this is the BB Cushion that I made myself. It's great for any time of year, because it's costumizable to your needs. I love using this. It's the easiest application and travel friendly packaging.
Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer 005 Light Natural - I chose this shade 005 in particular, because it's the lightest of the range and it's great for highlighting under my eyes. It also has a good coverage (review of other two shades).
L'Occitane Pivoine Sublime CC Cream Skin Tone Perfecting Light - this is one of those CC creams that looks like your skin, but it has a bit of glowiness to it, which doesn't make you look greasy at all.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation 51 Light Vanilla - one of the best looking medium coverage foundations. This is also on the glowy side and very lightweight.

No spring makeup is complete without the glow. After dull winter it is time to bring out the sunshine and let it bounce of your cheeks like nothing else. I am highlighter freak and highlighter is definitely "in" this year, with the whole strobing trend.

Oriflame The One Illuskin Face Primer - stark silver white liquid. This is great to mix in with foundation for a bit more glow or to use on it's own for a very natural highlight.
Kiko Radiant Touch Cream Stick Highlighter 100 Gold - peachy based champagne beige. I can't believe I didn't review this yet. It's one of the best lighter cream highlighters for achieving that natural, but still pretty glowy skin. It blends nicely into other cream products.
Essence Soo Glow! Cream to Powder Highlighter 10 Look on the Bright Side - white based light gold. Fair toned skins will love this. It's super light and gives just enough hint of gold to still look very natural on fair skin tones. It turns into powder, when it touches the skin.
theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer - orange based champagne gold. My holy grail highlighter. This is for every season and I adore the golden sheen that it gives to my skin.

My eye shadow shades are more on the golden, pink, peachy side. I like them to match my colorful lipsticks and especially be lighter than in the fall and winter. I also love a good shimmery eye shadow in the spring.

Freedom Today's Tonight Pro Decadence Shade 4 - classic warm toned brown with some orange undertone. Such a  classic shade that goes with everything. Great for all over the lid to highlight it. It has crazy creamy pigmentation.
Freedom Freedom Today's Tonight Pro Decadence Shade 16 - less shimmery and taupe version of 4. Really nice satin finish.
Zoeva Cocoa Blend Sweeter End - dirty mauve with gold sheen. Such a unique shades for all over the lid to give you nice sheen,
Zoeva Cocoa Blend Pure Ganache - yellow toned copper. The best shade for warmer complexions. It really brings out yellow undertones.
theBalm Nude'tude Snobby - very yellow toned gold. I love this for the inner corners. It's also great over other base colors to give it some warmth.
theBalm Nude'tude Stand-offish - gold based pink. Another great shade for the inner corners. This one is a lot less yellow than Snobby.
theBalm Nude'tude Seductive - yellow toned caramel brown. One of my all time favorite brown eye shadows. This will look amazing on warm skin tones.
Essence All About Roses Shade 7 - dirty mauve with taupe undertone. It's matte and such a unique alternative to usual taupe browns.
Essence All About Nudes Shade 2 - light warm toned brown. One of the lightest warm browns. Great for blending out other shades or for the crease.
Essence All About Nudes Shade 5 - beige with pink sheen. Such a unique shade with the beautiful sheen. It will look great on it's own or applied over brown cream bases to make them brighter and more dimensional.

Essence I Heart Nude Eyeshadow 03 Creme Brulee - warm peachy toned satin beige. This is amazing all over the lid as a base or for highlighting inner corner without using the usual shimmery shades. This is also great as a face highlighter.
Essence Eyeshadow 19 The Grammy Goes Glammy - warm toned very shimmery beige. This is crazy shimmery almost a bit stark and it will look great as a highlight here and there or in the inner corners.
Be Creative Make Up Eyeshadow 024 Bewitched - light peach with gold sheen. This shade is so pretty and just perfect for spring. I am really using it a lot. It's great subtle color all over the lid and especially pretty in the inner corners.
L'Oreal Color Infaillible Eyeshadow 024 Bronze Goddess - gold olive green. It could easily be defined as autumn color, but it's also spring for me. It's the most unique olive green that I own and one of my all time favorites.
Avon Supershock Vivid Liquid Eye Shadow Pink Party - shimmery pink with silver sheen. Amazingly reflective almost that wet look eye shadow. Greta on it's own.
Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner Flash - baby pink. This is great for inner corners or you can use it in the waterline too to brighten it up.
Avon Supershock Gel Eyeliner Black - black. My all time favorite eyeliner texture in a pen form, because it's gel and it glides on the lids with such ease. It's also one of the easiest to blend out, but has a very good staying power.
Avon Always On Point Eyeliner Molten Pewter - silvery olive green. Another one of those really unique shades. This is very reflective and will instantly brighten up you eyes. I really like to use it around the lower lash line.
Avon Always On Point Eyeliner Molten Rose - copper with silver shimmer. I use it in the same way as Molten Pewter. This can also be used in the inner corners.
Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 21 Passion Fruit - peach with gold sheen. Very bright warm peach. It looks a bit intimidating over the whole lid, but is great as a base for other powder eye shadows or applied over them as a highlight and a pop of color.

Blushes are again one of those must have pieces for the spring in my opinion. They reflect colorful flower shades from the nature and make you look fresh. Blushes that scream spring to me are peach shades. Obviously I wear those all year around. I also like a bit of coral shades as well as some pinks to match my fuchsia lipsticks.

By Nanda Three Colour Blush S01 - one of the lightest shimmery coral shades. It's almost a highlighter and looks very glowy. I like this for natural dewy finish.
E.l.f. Blush Palette Light Shade 4 - red toned pink. Great to compliment red or redish pink lipsticks.
theBalm Hot Mama! Shadow/Blush - coral pink with gold sheen. One of the prettiest shimmery blushes that I own. Such a natural flash of coral.
H&M Pure Radiance Powder Blusher Brown Sugar - matte brownish peach with satin finish. This is my all time favorite matte blush, that isn't flat matte. I adore this all year around for those very neutral brown makeup looks.
Catrice Defining Blush 070 Pinkerbell - cool toned fuchsia pink. This one is great to use as a nice match to fuchsia based pink lipsticks.
Milani Baked Blush 05 Luminoso - peach with gold sheen. My all time favorite blush. It looks goo with any warm makeup and has just big enough shimmer to look very naturally glowy.
Essence Soo Blush! Cream to Powder Blush 10 Sweet as a Peach - pinky coral. I like this for natural looks or those looks that require you to get ready in 5 minutes.
Catrice Defining Blush 030 Love & Peach - peachy coral. A bit too bright for my taste, but it looks good with orange based lipsticks as it compliments their brightness.

The list can go on and on when it comes to lip products. It's one of those categories that you can go crazy in the spring. Lips should reflect all the pretty shades of flowers blossoming around you. I adore peaches, pinks and warm nudes. I've also been really liking lip glosses, especially paired with lipsticks or on their own for those casual days. I know mattes are super popular right now, but nothing looks fresher than a glossy lip. It also makes your lips looking bigger.

Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother 020 Apricot Cream - light pinky peach. One of the most comfrotable formulas for the lips. It's almost like a lip balm and lip gloss hybrid. It also gives a very subtle color to the lips.
Catrice Beautifying Lip Smoother 010 Sweet Caramel - light caramel brown. This shade is perfect for nude makeup or over brown lipsticks to add shine.
NYX Butter Gloss Apple Strudel - pink coral. At first I hated this shade, because it was too pink for my taste. Recently I've been pairing it with some bright orange lipsticks for creating ombre lips and I adore it. It's so glossy and super shiny. It also makes your lips look bigger.
Essence Liquid Lipstick 03 Almost Real - pinky peachy light brown. This is nude glossy alternative to lipsticks. It looks very natural.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet 04 Peach Club - bright red toned peach. I love this shade because it's not super bright and it almost looks a tad redish. It's one of those nice mixes of bright and muted shade.
Essence Longlasting Lipliner 02 Sweetheart - bright medium pink. I love to use this on it's own as a lipstick, because it's very creamy. The shades is one of the prettiest not too cool pinks.
Avon Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liner Nude - yellow toned nude brown. A great nude lip liner to pair it with other lipsticks or wear on it's own. You can also over line the lips a bit, because it's very matte.
Avon Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liner Pink Cashmere - light dirty baby pink. This one is great to use with light pink lipsticks. I like to sometimes just correct the line of lipsticks with this and not use it all over.
Avon Ultra Glimmerstick Lip Liner Pink Bouquet - warm toned medium pink. Another great lip liner to be paired with lip sticks. I like that the formula is precise, but not too drying.
Golden Rose Dream Lips Lipliner 501 - peachy nude brown. One of the best nude lip liner shades that I own. It looks so natural with my skin tone and I love the warm tone of it.

Avon Kiss'n'go Lipstick  Amour - sheer warm dirty pink. It's almost a lip balm and lipstick hybrid. One of those no fuss lipsticks that gives you a bit of color, but looks very natural and noursihing.
Golden Rose Vision Lipstick 123 - brown based peach. This could easily be autumn shade, but I love the brick orange tone to it. It's unique and a nixe alternative to usual nude brown shades, since it's not bright, but also not nude.
MAC Lustre Lipstick Patisserie - pink peach brown nude. Patisserie is one of those shade that looks good on many different skin tones. It also goes with many different looks since it pretty much has a bit of everything in it - pink, peach and brown.
Avon Ultra Colour Indulgence Petal Pink - blue toned light fuchsia. Definitely not a shade for everyone. I always admire fuchsia toned lipsticks and this is a very light version that won't look too invasive.
Avon Ultra Colour Indulgence Peach Petunia - pink based peach. One of my all time favorite peachy shades. I love this very comfortable formula and bright peach shade.
Kiko Temptress Lip Set  04 - blue toned pinky red. This is in my spring picks, because it's almost like a gel based lipstick. It can bee used as a stain and I like the glossy texture to it.
Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro Lipstick Not in Love - bright coral pink. One of the most unique pink shades. I really like this one, it's just like nothing else and I like that it's quite warm. The formula is also very comfortable.
Avon 3D Plumping Lipstick Cantaloupe - very warm yellow toned peach. This is one of those "nudes" for my taste that it gives a bit of color - peach to be exact. I adore the formula of 3D lipsticks. So comortable for a lipsticks.
Avon 3D Plumping Lipstick Stolen Kisses - dirty pink. Very popular shades by many, because it will suit many different skin tones. One of those very natural looking nudes on the pink side.
Avon 3D Plumping Lipstick Bitten - bright fuchsia pink. My all time favorite fuchsia pink. It's so unique and so bright, yet kind of on the dark side. I adore this shade. It's one of those ones for the brave.
Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick Au Naturale - very warm light brown. This is a very warm light matte brown and it goes with my usualy repertoar of warm toned eye makeups.
Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick Pure Pink - dirty brownish pink. Like Stolen Kisses, this is a matte version of one of those pinks that just looks very natural and neutral.
Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick Ideal Lilac - cool light fuchsia. This one is again one of my favorite fuchsia lipsticks. It's a lot lighter than Bitten and gives a more muted look, because of the matte formula.
Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick Adoring Love - cool red based pink. It seems this is a very popular shade as well. I get it why, it just looks like a pink that is not too bright and not too dark. It's also not too cool.
Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick Coral Fever - bright orange. Probably my all time favorite orange. Is not an obvious orange since it has a bit of redish undertone, so it's a bit more muted. The shade is so unique and will brighten up any warm complexion.
Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick Peach Flatters - pink based peach. This is a more nude muted version of Coral fever. It seems pretty unique and I like it with many different eye makeup, especially coppers, golds and shimmery browns.

Pastels and some more pastels. This is what defines spring nail polishes in my opinion. I like a different range of colors not just pastels. I also like pinks, mints and some brighter shades like yellow. A bit of everything, really.

Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel Creme Brulee- very sheer beige. I would use this one those days that I can't be bothered to change my nail color every third day. It looks like nothing on your nails, but still provides you with a gloss slightly tinted look.
Berry M Gelly High-Shine Nail Paint Coconut - off white, a bit nudish. It's not a bright white, so a more muted version, perfect for spring and classy to go with everything.
Maybelline Colorama 303 - sheer lightly peach based nude. This is also one of my favorite nudes, since it's a bit more opaque than Creme Brulee and it has warm undertone so that it compliments my complexion better.
Kiko Nail Lacquer 507 Blush - very light pastel peach. This has also quickly became one of my favorite nudes as well. It has more color than 303, but still looks very light. One of the most unique shades in my opinion. I also really like the peachiness of it.
Maybelline Color Show The Blushed Nudes 447 Dusty Rose - dirty lavender pink. Definitely my favorite spring nail polish of this year. It's such a  unique mix of pastel lavender and pink. I adore it.
Avon Nailwear Pro+ Lemon Sugar - pastel true yellow. One of the best yellow nail polish colors. I think it's discontinued, which is such a shame. Most yellow nail polishes have a very warm almost bronze undertone to it, which I don't like at all. This one is a very bright true lemon like yellow, but with a very white base which makes it almost pastel like. I love it and wish I bought more, because I never found a good dupe for it.
Kiko Nail Lacquer 322 Caffe Latte - warm brown. Kiko nail polish shades are just the best. This is a nice nude brown alternative and I like that it's just the right amount of darkness and it's also warm toned.
Models Own Hyper Gel Gel Effect Polish Powder Blue - pastel light blue. I don't own a lot of pastel shades and in general I don't like blue, but this one is an exception. It's very light and I like this baby blue feel to it.
Maybelline Color Show 286 Maybe Blue - denim light blue. I think I bought this shade last year in the summer and it's just one of those really unique blue shades. It's almost like a mix of baby blue and denim blue. Again one of those rare blue shades that I really like.
Kiko Nail Lacquer 330 Lilac - pastel lavender violet, These kind of pastel lavender shades are my obsession in spring. I seem to have this idea in my mind and always think of lavender nail polish in the spring. It really is a lovely shade and good alternative to usual pinks.
Maybelline Colorama 317 - fuchsia pink. Maybelline has a way of making unique shades that are a bit non standard. This is also one of those really unique pinks.
Maybelline Mini Colorama 95 Green Park - pastel minty green. My all time favorite greenish minty nail polish that is sadly discontinued. I can't find a good dupe for it, so if you have any suggestions let me know. It's very sheer, but the shade is just such a a pretty light green.
Kiko Nail Lacquer 526 Mint - greenish mint. It's again one of those really nice greenish darker mint shades. It's almost a bit bright.
Kiko 3 in 1 Mat Fortifying Fast Dry Base and Top Coat - matte top coat. Even though I like glossy shiny lips for the spring, I almost want to counteract them with matte nails. Because of the bright sun, matte nail polish looks so much more unique and this is my favorite matte top coat. It's really matte and lasts well on my nails.
Essence Turn it Sunny Top Coat 02 You Are My Sunshine - pearly top coat with orange sheen. This is a fairly new addition to Essence collection. I bough it because I knew that this would give me an instant warmth to any nail polish shade. It looks so pretty over colorful nail polishes and gives them a very coppery bright sheen.

Review: Essence LE Lights of Orient (Bronzer, Eyebrow Shaper, Gold Nail Polish, Body Splash)

Hey Beauties!

Essence Limited Edition Lights of Orient is in my opinion another one of those best looking Limited Editions by Essence. Kind of like their Merry Berry, this one also seems to be very popular. I too was admiring it on promo photos and decided that I need to pick some up just because of the packaging if nothing else. I am usually not as superficial to get blinded by packaging, but it helps if the products are affordable. Then I kind of fall into the obsession.

Bronzer 01 Sunkissed Beauty

Bronzer was the one thing that I knew I would get even before I found collection in the store. I love the design and the whole feel of Orient in general. I also like the shade, since it seemed fairly light and warm toned. Btw I have to mention this. Most people seem to think that warm bronzer is bad and you shouldn't buy it and that you should search for something with more neutral undertone. That is total bullshit, because if you have warm skin tone, warm bronzers will look way better on you than red or pink toned. Just putting it out there. Obviously orange toned bronzers will look weird on you if your skin tone is cool.

Pretty orient inspired design reminds me a bit of Ancient Greek - especially the pattern around the edges. In the center circle is a gold highlighter which gives sheen and lightness to the bronzer. It contains 8 grams of product and it costs 3.59€

Texture is slightly wet. The pigmentation is good. It is fairly light so it might seem to be less pigmented. I prefer it this way, because I like it to be lighter, since my skin tone is also pretty light. It has a satin finish. Doesn't look flat out matte, but has a very subtle sheen of reflection to it. This goes for the bronzer shade. Highlighter has the same texture as bronzer and the same satin finish, which is a bit more reflective than bronzer. It's actually a very lovely finish, super natural. Shimmer in it is very small and it's mostly just finely milled powder.

It lasts on me very well with minimal fading and I think this is amazing for such a cheap product. It seems to stay intact for about 8 hours of wear and then it start to fade a bit.

The shade is warm orange toned light brown, while highlighter is light yellow toned gold. If you mix it with the highlighter in the middle the shade turns into slightly more yellow toned shade with a bit stronger sheen. It's still by no means shimmery or shiny. The finish is very natural, but not flat matte. I really like that.

The bronzer on it's own looks like a warm slightly orange toned shade. It's my lightest bronzer shade compared to Makeup Revolution and Betty-Lou Manizer. Makeup Revolution is a shade or two darker and has more of a yellow undertone compared to Essence. Betty-Lou Manizer is the darkest, most shimmery and very orange toned compared to other two.

Here you can see how my skin looks like with just foundation, concealer and transparent powder (left) and then with the added bronzer (right).

Eyebrow Shaper 01 Sunkissed Beauty

It's in a pencil form and the design is usual nothing special. Outer shade should correspond the shade inside. In it is 0.342 grams of product and it costs 2.49€

It's two sided. On one side you get a waxy pencil and on the other you get a blending sponge. If you take the sponge out there's also small sharpener inside. This way you can always sharpen it to a point (I forgot to take a photo of it though).

Pencil is very waxy, slightly hard. The pigmentation is very good. Shade depends on how much you press it on the skin. The more you press it down, the darker it will look. If you use light feathery strokes, it will look lighter and a bit more sheer. It's quite a dark shade of brown in my opinion. I would say medium brown with a bit of redish undertone. Sponge on the other end can help you blend it, which will also make it sheerer and less obvious (see the photo with bronzer swatch).

And here you can see how it looks like on my brows. It's a fairly strong look compared to my light hair, but I actually really like it. Slight warm redish undertone also looks nice with my warm hair color.

I compared it to my other favorite pencil - Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in 020 Date With Ash-tone. It's a bit more yellow toned  than Essence. Essence has a very slight red undertone to it and it's also darker than Catrice.

Nail Polish 01 Golden Gate to Orient

Squared packaged glass nail polish with a classic black plastic top. In it is 11 ml of nail polish and it costs 2.19€

The brush is standard and straight cut. It works fine and spreads product evenly.

I am always on a search for a good gold shade of nail polish. You'd be surprised how many different shades of gold nail polishes are out there. I have a lot of bronzed ones and very light ones. This one seemed like the shade that I don't already own. It's metallic and very light yellow golden. As with any metallic nail polishes you can experience obvious lines with the application. Nothing that a good top coat can't fix. I find that it dries almost to a semi matte finish, but I obviously always apply top coat over it.

I like gold nail polishes for nail art and very rarely wear them on its own. It's not long lasting by no means. On my nails Essence nail polishes chip the second day. Keep in mind that my nails are weak and prone to splitting, so I am definitely not friends with Essence nail polishes.

Body Splash 01 Genie in a Bottle

I wasn't planning on buying this, but then I sprayed it on my hand in the store and I was forced to smell it while deciding what to get and it smelled so good that I was sold.

Body splash comes in a plastic small bottle. Transparent plastic is slightly pink toned. Spray pump is gold and it really reminds me of Victoria's Secret Body Mists. The pump also works the same as Victoria's since it produces a lot of splash with just one spray. You'll get 100 ml of product for the price of 3.29€

Pump produces quite a splash of wet water. It's definitely not a fine mist and be careful not to wet your clothes.

In the bottle is also small gold shimmer. It actually lays on the bottom. Once you shake it, it creates the most magical hypnotizing effect, which I adore. Such a nice visual effect.

Gold shimmer actually transfers on the skin when you spray it. It's small enough that it won't look too obvious on the skin, but it definitely sparkles a little. Splash is very wet so it might not be good to use it on clothes, just the skin.

Essence describes smell as summery and floral which will provide boost of freshness. I totally disagree with them. This is miles away from being fresh. It's a very oriental scent which means strong, woody, a bit spicy and very sweet. I don't smell any flowers in it. But that's just me. On me it's really sweet and woody, which is just my kind of scent.

Unfortunately, it's not long lasting at all. It's obviously a body splash so you can't expect it to last like a perfume. I find that it's very powerful and strong in the beginning, but it fades in the matter of 30 minutes. By the end of 3 hours I can hardly even smell it on me. It doesn't bother me that much, since I'll use this more on the go and as an additional sweetness to my usual perfumes, but do consider it while buying.

I love all four products. I think bronzer is such a sophisticated satin finish, especially for Essence and I love light warm toned shade. I also like the eyebrow shaper, although I would prefer it to be just a bit lighter and maybe slightly harder in texture so that I could draw on individual hairs. Nail polish is also not bad and I will definitely use it for nail art, but it's not long lasting on me, so I can't use it on its own. Body splash smells amazing and I adore the whole design of it with the gold shimmer in it. I do wish it would have a more lasting power, but I'll get used to it. If Essence would make a perfume with this scent, I would be all over it. I suggest you to check out this LE in the store, you might find something for yourself.

Review: Ebrand (Cleansing Milk, Face Tonic, Face Cream, Face Peeling, Vitamin Mask, Body Peeling)

Hey Beauties!

Ebrand is Italian brand which offers a wide range of natural products. They sell their products online here and their products are meant for professionals in beauty industry, but can be purchased by regular users like me. Products are made in Italy out of selected natural ingredients. Their products are free of parabens and paraffin

Cleansing Milk

Cleansing milk is suppose to take off makeup, leave skin moisturized and make it soft. The milk is white and pretty runny. It looks like a lightweight gel cream. It has a gentle slightly sweet and floral scent. I do need a bit more to take off my makeup, because it seems to soak into the skin. It's fairly lightweight and moisturizing enough that it can be easily spread over the skin. The milk does take off all of the makeup and the skin feels slightly moisturized afterwards. It also doesn't leave any tightening feeling.

Price: 11.16€ for 500 ml.

Face Tonic

Tonic should balance the hydration, tighten pores, brighten up complexion and help with redness. Tonic is slightly yellow toned. It has a very fruity sweet scent which reminds me of orange Softies flavor. I adore that smell. Right after the application I get a cooling feeling as if it's evaporating from the skin. After it dries it tightness my skin and I can definitely feel like I have another layer on my skin. I did see a difference in pore tightening. It made my pores a bit tighter, but the effect didn't last all day. It didn't do anything about redness or red patches, but it definitely didn't further irritate the skin. Moisturizing effect wasn't really noticeable in my opinion. I find it more appropriate for normal or even more for oily skin.

Price: 11.16€ for 500 ml.

Calming Cream for Sensitive Skin

This cream is suppose to calm down sensitive skin and keep away the redness. The texture is firm, but lightweight like a mix of cream and gel. It's slightly blue colored. It has an interesting sweet gentle scent which reminds me of chewing gums. It spreads on the skin easily, but needs to be massaged in otherwise it can leave behind white traces. After it soaks in it's first a bit tacky and then it becomes pretty matte. It's not enough moisturizing for my skin. I think I'll use it more in summer months. It will suit better oily skin. If you have very dry skin you might even experience some tightening. I do think it helps irritated skin and it calms it down a bit, which is a big plus.

Price: 12.24€ for 250 ml.

Face Peeling

Peeling has parts of hazelnut and almond shell. It's supposed to be gentle peeling which also contains Camellia to calm the skin. It's lightly brown colored. Shell particles are very small dots. The texture of it is very creamy and thick. It soaks into the skin quite fast. Peeling particles are rough for gentle face skin. It has strong sweet oriental scent. After the usage the skin is definitely a lot smoother. I was also surprised that it didn't irritate my skin in spite of the roughness. It's not hydrating so make sure to follow it with some other skin care products. I wouldn't recommend it to dry skin, because it can make it even drier. It's suitable for those that like physical peeling and the feeling of taking off dirt from the surface.

Price: 9.55€ for 250 ml.

Vitamin Mask

Vitamin mask should make skin look fresh and plump. It contains vitamins A, E, F and C. It's very thick and slightly grey toned. It reminds me of clay masks. Because of the thickness you need to spread it on the face nicely. After a few moments the mask starts to soak in. Upper layer gets completely dry. It tightness a bit and you can experience some peeling off. After I wash it off I can feel some grit to it. Like there are small sand like particles, but it's nowhere to be seen. When it gets in touch with water it transforms into a smooth cream. This is the product that has disappointed me the most. I didn't find it moisturizing at all and the texture seems more like a clay mask instead of vitamin. Vitamin masks are usually lightweight and moisturizing. I wouldn't recommend it.

Price: 9.55€ for 250 ml.

Almond Body Peeling

This peeling also contains particles of hazelnuts and almonds. It should gently remove dead skin cells and other irregularities on the skin. The skin should feel soft, smooth and fresh. Peeling is slightly brown tinted. The particles seem to be the same size as in the face peeling. They also both have similar nutty oriental scent. For me personally the peeling is too gentle. Particles are pretty gentle and definitely good for those of you who don't like rough scrubs. Even though particles are small, the skin is still very smooth after I use it. It's also lightly moisturized. I have a feeling like it creates a slightly greasy feeling which stays on the skin after I rinse it off.

Price: 12.24€ for 500 ml.

The thing that surprised me the most about this brand is how heavily scented the products are. I am used to more gentle scents with skin care. Saying that, I was also really surprised they didn't irritate my skin at all, in spite of the heavy scents.

I got products in test packaging for testing purposes, but you can check how products look like in their online store. The packaging is very basic, since it's not primarily intended for regular buyers. I think the prices are amazing since you get a lot of product for a very reasonable, if not cheap price.

I liked cleansing milk, but wish it would be slightly more greasy. I felt like it needed some oiliness. I love the smell of face tonic, but didn't find it made any visible difference apart from slightly tightening pores. Face cream is actually a really nice product for sensitive skin, but I feel like it is more appropriate for normal or oily skin. Mine was a bit dry when I was testing it, but it might be better for summer days. Face peeling is also really nice for a physical peeling and I love the fact that the beads are all natural (apparently plastic micro beads can cause some serious damage in the ocean waste). Body peeling seems very similar to face one and it's not bad at all, but I am used to more rough ones with the sea salt or sugar in it. Vitamin mask was the most disappointing product of these, because I feel like it really didn't do anything. I also don't like the texture of it at all.

I would definitely say check out their huge range of skin care, body care and even nail care. The prices are amazing, you just need to find something that works for your skin type.

Izdelki so narejeni v Italiji.

Diši nežno rahlo sladko in cvetlično.

Piling vsebuje zrnca lupin lešnikov in mandljev.

Vitaminska maska

Vitaminska maska naj bi naredila kožo svežo, mladostno in čvrsto. Vsebuje vitamine A, E, F in C. Je zelo gosta rahlo sivkaste barve.

Vitaminska maska me je najbolj razočarala.

Review: Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer - 005 Light Natural

Hey Beauties!

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer is my favorite concealer. I use it every time I do my makeup. I already have two of their shades, but recently they've added a third one. It's lighter which is just what I needed in my life. Ever since I got it, I can't stop using it.

It comes in a lip gloss kind of plastic tube with a black top. Basic, but very useful and I love these systems best for concealers.

It costs 3.79€ and in it is 5 ml of product.

It also has a doe foot applicator, which is soft and gives a nice amount of product.

I won't go too much into details of this product, because I already reviewed two of these shades here and I also tested all the statements that are written on the product.

Basically it's a thicker creamy consistency, which dries very quickly to at first slightly tacky finish and later it becomes matte. It's better to work with thin layers, since it really does get dry really quickly. I usually apply one layer all over my imperfections and I use second thinner layer under my eyes to cover darkness.

It's very pigmented and I would say this is medium coverage, but can be build up to almost full coverage. I like that it's not drying and doesn't over emphasize small lines around my eyes. Of course they are visible a little, but it doesn't settle into the lines like a lot of other concealer do. That really annoys me.

It has a sweet fruity scent, which is not overpowering.

It's definitely waterproof and has an amazing staying power. It won't cover tattoos.

All of these concealers oxidize on my hands, but don't get scared, because on the actual face they blend into the skin and are as light as they look in the packaging.

Shade 005 Light Natural is light yellow toned warm shade. I adore this shade. It really brightens up my skin, especially under my eyes. Since I found some foundations that actually match my skin tone now (I am very pale), I adore to use this concealer with them, because it's still lighter then most of my foundations.

Demonstration of it under my eyes.

Here is also me with very light foundation on left side and on the right side I added this concealer. I hope you can notice how lighter and brighter my skin looks like on the right photo.

Now you can get three shades in this range and they are definitely more suited for lighter to medium skin tones. Two are warm and one is cool toned.

I compared all three shades and 005 is definitely the most yellow toned as well as the lightest of them all. It's perfect for fair warm toned complexions. 010 is very grey pink toned and still very light. This is perfect for all you with cool skin tones and fair complexion. 020 is the darkest and also the most orange one of them all. I would say this is going towards medium complexion, but I can also use it in the summer, when I get some tan. It's also very warm toned.

Shade 005 is very similar to MAC's Pro Longwear Concealer in NC15 in terms of lightness. I feel like 005 is slightly more orange yellow, while NC15 is more yellow. MAC's is a lot more liquid, while Catrice is more of a thicker version and it dries a lot quicker.

This is definitely my holy grail concealer right now and I just hope that they'll stock it in Müller, because I see it's sold out often and I know why. This is creamy, long lasting, doesn't emphasize lines, good coverage and very light shade, which is just what I need. I highly advise you to check it out in the store and maybe blend it under the eyes instead of putting it on the skin. Don't get afraid if it oxidizes. Also check out my detailed review of two other shades

Nadja also reviewed these concealers, so go check out her opinion on these.

Hey Beauties!

Let's see what products I'll review in the future.

Zoeva 231 Luxe Petit Crease  and 227 Luxe Soft Definer brush

I finally went to Graz again, which meant I could stock up on Zoeva brushes. Unfortunately, they didn't have their palettes in the store. I got 231 and 227 brushes. I already have both of these and they are my absolute favorite. Super soft and do a nice job of blending. 231 I use for the crease and 227 as a blending brush. I have a review of those here

French Vanilla Candle

I had to include this one here. I got it in Primark and boy do I love their home decor stuff. To borrow the lines from Queens' song: I want it all and I want it now. I got this vanilla scented candle because of the pretty rose gold glass. Unfortunately, I don't want to burn it, because it's so pretty. But even if I don't burn it, it still smells really strong and I have it near my computer so I often get this swift of vanilla scent in my face. When I go back, I'll definitely stock up on these.

Innisfree Smart Foundation Perfect Cover

I've been obsessing over Korean skin care and makeup and Jolse is my new find. It's an online store that offers various Korean brands with free shipping. I ordered this Innisfree foundation, because I liked small size and since I wasn't sure about the color, I'd rather buy smaller packaging. 13 is the lightest shade and I am happy to report that is one of the only foundations that I own that actually matches my very fair skin right now. Coverage is disappointing and I am not the biggest fan of how it looks like on the skin, but the light shade outweighs it all. I'll have a review up soon.

Avon Advance Techniques Daily Shine Shampoo, Leave In Conditioner and Dry Ends Serum*

This is a line by Avon for those that want shiny hair, although I didn't experience any mayor difference. I will say this is great for dry hair, because it's a bit too nourishing for my hair. I feel like my hair gets greasier quicker after I use this shampoo. Conditioner is not after my own taste, because I feel like it makes my hair a bit crunchy. Serum is good and actually looks nice, but I think I prefer their Moroccan Argan Oil better. I'll also do a full review after I use it a bit more.

Tangle Teezer The Original*

Avon started selling original Tangle Teezer and they have it in this bright neon pink shade. I already have one in black version and it's my absolute favorite hair brush ever. I feel like it helps detangling hair on a much softer and less harsh way. I also love this bright pink shade. It makes it easier to find the brush in bags and such.

Essence Gummy Touch Top Coat*

I was also sent a few of new Catrice and Essence products, which was a really nice surprised. Essence and Catrice revamp their whole range in spring and fall. I got this Gummy Toch top coat, which makes nail polish underneath look a bit muted and matte. It's not the usual matte effect, but rather a cloudy kind of finish. It's definitely interesting effect.

Catrice Super Fushion Lipstick in 070 Remarry Berry*

Gorgeous plum shade with a very creamy and pigmented formula. It's so comfortable on the lips and I love the texture of it, but think it would be better for lighter shades, since darker shades can easily go over the line with such creamy textures.

Essence All I Need Concealer Palette*

Color correcting has been very popular lately and I even got interested in the whole idea of it, so I was happy that I was sent this palette. Unfortunately, it's not as I would have wanted it. Concealers are very creamy and they do concealer, but they also go into fine lines like crazy, which I really dislike. I would also like them to be more pigmented, because you sometimes need to layer them.

Catrice Denim Greys Eyeshadow Palette*

Not my usual choice of eye shadow colors, but shades 2 and 3 seem very interesting. I haven't tried this yet, because I've been testing some other palettes.

Avon Anew Essential Youth Maximising Serum*

I really like this. It's very lightweight almost gel formula and it absorbs well into the skin. I really like how smooth it makes my skin. It also hydrated a little and for some reason it's very calming. So much that I ditched my soothing serum and only use this from now on. It also has a lovely gentle almost mandarin smell to it. I can't see any visible difference in fine lines.

Avon Anew Nutri-Advanced Eye Cream*

I haven't made up my mind about this one yet. It's very thick cream and I almost dislike it for that, because you really need to work it in the skin and try not to pull on delicate under eye area. Once you massage it in it gets a bit creamier and smoother. It's fairly moisturizing, but I think it could work better.

Freedom Makeup Today's Tonight Pro Decadence Eyeshadow Palette*

This surprised me, because I wasn't expecting it to be that good. It has a really nice pigmentation and almost all the shades have a nice wet texture. Shimmery shades are even creamier than Zoeva eye shadows. They last well on the lids, but do fade through the day. Matte shades are also really nice and the fallout is minimal. Definitely impressed with the quality.

Freedom Makeup Eyebrow Pomade in Caramel Brown*

Another product that has really impressed me. It's a very creamy (I would almost like it to be a bit less) cream product for the brows. Shade Caramel Brown is a warm toned medium brown, which actually suits me fine. I like that this is really pigmented and if you use light hand this really fills in the brows without looking to fake. It needs some time to dry down, but it doesn't move.

Makeup Revolution Ultra Metals Ultra Pointed Crease Eyeshadow Brush*

Rose gold metallic handle is everything. The bristles are soft and I have no complains. I would say it's a bit too dense for my liking to be used as a crease brush. I would almost use it more as a smoky eye brush.

Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamels*

Those are 6 new shades that have been added to Gel Finish range. Nail polishes are 3 in 1 - a base, color and top coat. New shades are very much colorful and spring inspired. I adore these. I've already swatched them all and they all look so pretty. They have small shimmer in them and are very pigmented. What impressed me the most is the long lasting power. I can wear these for three days with no chipping, which is amazing on my weak nails. I also don't use any base or top coat with these and they look really shiny.

Shades from left to right: Nude Shimer, Sheer Shimmer, Coral Shimmer, Pink Shimmer, Berry Shimmer and Lavender Shimmer.

Avon Nutra Effects Gentle 3 in 1 Scrub*

This is a nice gel based cleanser with small particles that should exfoliate the skin. I find it appropriate for sensitive skin and it very gentle. Almost feels a bit refreshing and the skin and it does do a nice job of exfoliating, but in a very gentle way.

Avon Nutra Effects BB Cream (normal and matte)*

This is a light coverage BB cream. I haven't tried them on my face yet, because I got them in shade Light and Medium and both are too dark for my skin tone. I am really fair after winter. Light will be good when I get a bit of sun tan. I would warn you that both shades are very orange tones, so not appropriate for cool or neutral skin tones. I also think this can be used as an all over bronzed base in a a way, because it can be very sheered down.

Avon Planet Spa Treasures of The Dessert Maroccan Argan Oil Restoring Hand Cream*

Whole Planet Spa of Avon is impressive and they usually have a very nice products in those ranges. This hand cream is lightweight and absorbs well into the skin, but still leaves a tiny bit of greasy layer, which I really like. It also has a very strong oriental smell. I am a bit on the fence with the smell. Sometimes I like it and sometimes it's a bit too strong.

Belweder Lip Balms*

As one of those people that often experiences dry lips, I am always on a search for good lip balms. This package is a dream. Belweder is a brand that is available in our pharmacies (or it will be) and it uses natural ingredients.

Rounded lip balms which have the same packaging as the famous Eos lip balms are amazing. I've only tried these so far. The packaging is the most useful and cute. Only downfall is that if you don't place them on the table int he right was they will roll down. I've tried all three of those and they are all almost a perfect lip balm in my book. They are lightweight, but still greasy and shiny. I'm one of those people that loves greasy lip balms, so this is perfect for me. My favorite scent has to be green tea. The second one is the one with aloe extract, which has a very fruity sour scent. They do a nice job of moisturizing, but won't solve your super cracked and dry lips.

I haven't tried the ones in stick form yet.

Avon Be Romantic, Be Fun and Be Daring Eau de Toilettes*

Those are another newcomers in Avon range. Be Romantic is my favorite and it has notes of black currant, rose and sensual musk. It's the most gentle and sweet. Be Fun has notes of pear, freesia and amber. It's a bit more fruity and slightly more sour. Be Daring has notes of bergamot, magnolia and leathery musk. This one is the most unique and fairly strong. Almost has a bit of masculinity to it because of the leathery musk. I only tried them once, so this are just my first impressions.

Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream

I got mini version for the same reason as Innisfree, to try if the shade suits me. 21 is the lightest shade and it seems quite fair. I only tried it on my hand and compared to Innisfree this is very grey tones, while Innisfree is very yellow toned, so I'm interested to see whether this is going to be too cool for my skin tone or not.

The Skin Lab Galactomyces Eye Cream

I was interested in the claims of this cream and the fact that it had affordable price. So far, I only tried it twice. It's a very lightweight almost gel like cream. It has a very subtle fruity scent,

COSRX Natural BHA Skin Returning A-Sol

This is basically tonic type of product that should clean out pores and minimize production of pimples. I got this, because lately my skin felt very clogged and I have those little bumps that I can't get rid off. Hopefully this will help. Only tried it twice and it's very gentle, refreshing, water line, but it has fairly strong tea tree smell. It's very gentle.

COSRX Low pH Good Morning Cleanser

Sometimes the hardest this is to find gentle cleansers that still do their job. This one is highly recommended and I can see why. It's a light gel which forms into a small gentle foam. It feels super nice on the skin and does a good job of cleaning the skin. I also like that it's sensitive skin approved. This one also has a strong tea tree scent. I only tried it twice so far.

Review: Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamels (Sheer, Nude, Coral, Pink, Berry, Lavender)

Hey Beauties!

Avon Gel Finish line already has 15 shades. I've reviewed three of those shades here. Recently they've added 6 new shimmery shades, which are just gorgeous. The range is definitely colorful and spring inspired.

These 6 shades are called: Sheer Shimmer, Nude Shimmer, Coral Shimmer, Pink Shimmer, Berry Shimmer and Lavender Shimmer

In each nail polish is 10 ml of product and the regular price is 6.50€, but currently you can get them for 3.50€ (here).

Avon nail polishes have the usual square type of glass bottle with plastic black top. The brush is regular straight cut and long enough to make the application easy.

All the shades have small silver shimmer in them, which then reflects off light and makes nails look really shiny. Shimmer is small and is not difficult to take off. Sure, you'll need a bit more time taking it off, especially if you apply thicker coats, but it's still nothing like glittery top coats.

Let's see all the shades swatched. On bottom photos I show you how nail polish looks like with one coat on the left and with two coats on the right.

Sheer Shimmer

Shimmery pastel pink.

Nude Shimmer

Shimmery light brown nude. It almost looks a bit olive toned on my skin.

Coral Shimmer

Shimmery orange coral.

Pink Shimmer

Shimmery bright pink.

Berry Shimmer

Shimmery darker berry pink.

Lavender Shimmer

Shimmery darker lavender violet.

Formula is just thick enough as well as thin enough to apply with ease. I will say they are more on the thicker creamy side. They are well pigmented, although one application may not cover entire nail, especially with lighter shades. I always apply two coats anyway. They also dry fairly quickly

These nail polishes are base, color and top coat all in one. I've been using them without any base and top coat and they really last well. On me I can wear them for 3 days without chipping, which is a miracle for my weak nails. They also have a very  shiny gel like finish and the shine stays on the nails for days. You definitely don't need to use any base or top coat with these, which is a real plus.

I am seriously impressed with these nail polishes. Mostly by the fact that I don't need base and top coat and that they last well on my nails, but also because I think the shades are very pretty with the added shimmer, which is still not hard to take off. All shades are pretty, but my favorite shade of them all is Sheer Shimmer. It's the most gorgeous pastel for spring. I also really like Nude Shimmer and Berry Shimmer.

Ti novi odtenki se imenujejo: Sheer Shimmer, Nude Shimmer, Coral Shimmer, Pink Shimmer, Berry Shimmer and Lavender Shimmer.

Jaz vedno nanesem dva nanosa z vsakim lakom. Tudi sušijo se precej hitro.

Ti laki so podlaga, barva in nadlak v enem. Sama sem jih nosila brez kakršnega koli podlaka ali nadlaka in so se res dobro obdržali na nohtih.

April 2016 Favorites

Hey Beauties!

April has been a month of many new discoveries and some rediscoveries. I feel like I have been testing a lot of products as well as found some new favorites, which are in this post.

Avon Anew Essential Youth Maximising Serum

This serum has replaced my Dr. Sheller's Jojoba Oil & Schisandra Soothing Intensive Serum, which I have been using all the time as a serum that calms down any irritations. Avon's does just that, but smells way nicer. It has almost mandarin like sweet smell. It's in a light runny gel form and I like how soft it makes my skin. I also feel like it helps with irritation and slightly moisturizes the skin.

DIY BB Cushion

I made this BB cushion and you can find how here. I've been really using it a lot this month, because it's just so easy to use. I also really like the cushion puff, which makes it so easy to blend. I use the puff to blend out concealer as well. It's a multi purpose product for me. Seriously one of the most useful packaging.

Catrice Liquid Camouflage High Coverage Concealer 005 Light Natural

Shade 005 is a new addition to their range and I have a review here. It's one of the lightest and cheapest concealers. That being said it also has nice coverage as well as being moisturizing. If that's not enough for you, it's waterproof and lasts really well. I love this lighter shade which is perfect for my fair complexion. I can even highlight my under eye area with it.

Kiko Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter 100 Gold

I don't know why I haven't posted a review of this yet. I've been neglecting it through the winter, but now that it's a bit warmer, I like this, because it looks so natural. I promise to write full review soon. It's the most gorgeous champagne shade, which blends into the skin seamlessly, looks natural, but still very glowy.

Essence LE Lights of Orient Bronzer 01 Sunkissed Beauty

This bronzer is one of the lightest warmer bronzers I own. It has such a unique finish, which is almost a bit satin like. It has very small shimmer in it, which makes it look so natural and not flat. In the center it's light gold highlighter which I almost used up. I'm kind of sad, so now I try to avoid it and just use bronzer around it. I have a review here

Freedom Makeup Today's Tonight Pro Decadence Eyeshadow Palette

In all honesty I wasn't expecting this to be as good as it is. The shades are very creamy and wet like, which makes them pigmented and smooth. The very shimmery ones are almost cream eye shadows. All the mattes have just as good pigmentation and they all blend out nicely. One fault is that they do fade through the day, but damn, that is some really nice palette. I also like shades more then I expected too. They don't look like much in the pan, but on the skin, they are really nice. I'll write a full review soon.

Essence LE Lights of Orient Eyebrow Shaper 01 Sunkissed Beauty

I've already mentioned that I sometimes get bold spots in my brows. I think this usually happens in spring and fall, like I'm changing my mane or something. Anyway, I've been on a search for brow products that nicely fill in my blind spots and don't fade away. This eye pencil definitely does a good job. It's on a waxy side, which means it really sticks to the skin and fills in any gaps. I also like the shade, which is more of a medium brown, but on a warmer side. I have a review of it here

Freedom Makeup Pro Brow Pomade in Caramel Brown

Another amazingly good product for brows. This is really creamy, almost a bit too much. This means that you can really fill in all the gaps or just use it lightly to darken your brows. Because it's a cream it needs a bit of time to set, but once it sets it doesn't move. It has an amazing lasting power. I also really like the shade of it, which depends on how much I put on. If I apply it lightly and diffuse it a bit, it's light brown, otherwise it's a bit darker brown with warm almost yellowish undertone, which again matches my current hair color well.  I'll also do a separate review of this.

Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara in Intense Black

You know the feeling when you finally start to use your favorite product again and you think to yourself, why did I ever use something else? This is my holly grail mascara. I bought it in this intense black version just because it was there and I thought I might try something else. I am not one of those people that gets fussy about their mascara having to be the blackest black version. Normal black is fine for me. I also don't notice any major blackness to it. It's just as good as I remember it. It defines, adds volume, a bit of length and doesn't clump the lashes together. In the beginning it's a bit runny. I like it best when it dries up a bit.

Born Pretty Store Panda Smooth Liquid Eye Liner

This is a really nice eye liner pen that seems to last for ages. It's a bit too runny for my taste and it does leave a shiny finish, but it's also really pigmented and the tip is always saturated, which makes it a great eye liner. It also has that kind of thin brush like tip, which is definitely my favorite, because you can be very precise with application as well as draw on the thinnest lines possible. If this was a bit thicker in consistency, it would be perfect eye liner. The panda design is also super cute.

Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Posh Petal and Avon 3D Plumping Lipstick in Bitten

I love wearing those two in combination. I apply Posh Petal, which is cool toned almost pastel pink all over my lips and then use Bitten, which is bright fuchsia purple, in the inner corner or at the outer edges to darken it a bit. Bitten is just as stunning on it's own. I've been really liking these cool toned fuchsia shades lately. You can see how it looks like here

Avon True Colour Perfectly Matte in Coral Fever and NYX Butter Gloss in Apple Strudel

Another amazing combination, which I've been really liking. I have been applying Coral Fever (warm orange red) in the center of the lips, almost as a stain and then I used Apple Strudel lip gloss (peach baby pink) all over my lips and sort of create an ombre shiny look. I've used the same combination in my Soft Coral Spring Makeup.

Avon Gel Finish Nail Enamel in Sheer Shimmer

This is without a doubt my favorite nail polish shade of this month. It's shimmery pastel pink, which almost looks a bit white. For some reason I've been really liking pastel nail polishes this spring, especially pink and lavender ones. I also really like that this formula has small shimmer in it and that it lasts on my nails well. I have a review of it here

Avon Skin So Soft Golden Bliss Silky Hand & Body Souffle

I've been really good with my body care lately. Actually all through the winter and I'm trying to moisturize as much as I can. I have naturally a bit drier skin on my body, but it's nothing I can't handle. This is such a nice product for body. It's described as souffle and it's very thick white cream, which still has nice slip to it, so you don't have hard time applying it. It also contains andiroba oil, which makes souffle a bit smoother and creates a nice layer on the skin. In general this soaks into the skin really quickly, but still has a tiny layer of grease on top. It has a unique smell, which is supposedly mix of lavender, fig and vanilla. In all honesty I can't smell any lavender (trust me I would know, because I hate lavender smell). I think it's more of a fig and vanilla mixture, which is very unique. It keeps my skin moisturized and soft.

L'Oreal Elvital Fibralogy Thickening Shampoo and L'Oreal Elseve Fibralogy Thickening Conditioner

I'm not sure why one is called Elseve and other is Elvital, I think they must have changed the names or something, because I have these two for a really long time. Thickening line is targeted to those with thin hair, which mine definitely is. These two products in combinations are the only shampoo and conditioner that I've tried so far that actually give some volume to my hair. I feel like they give my hair some texture, which makes my hair look more voluminous. It's suppose to give you thicker hair look and it definitely gives you that added texture. But it also means that they are not the most moisturizing products if you have very dry hair. The smell is great, somewhat salon like. I think I'll repurchase these, because I really like them for those days when I want some texture to my otherwise very flat hair.

Snapchat

I have been really liking Snapchat lately. You can follow me under adjustingbeauty. I have been posting a lot of my photo "worthy" food, sometimes even outfit details and lots of makeup. I find this platform great to post thing as they happen and to share everything that doesn't go into my Instagram feed.

Fun Run 2

This is a game that I've been playing on my phone and I have been obsessed with it. You can choose among different characters, I have a fox and then it's basically running show and trying to get to the end first. On the way you can pick up some "tools" like magnets to pull your opponent back or saw to kill them. Now it sounds a bit violet, but it's actually kind of funny and the characters are kind of cute. You can also dress them up with different outfits, shoes, accessories and such. I was never really into games, but I really like this one. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes fun.

Pastel Makeup

Hey Beauties!

I love pastels for my nails, but I always thought they don't suit me as makeup. I've seen some amazing pastel makeup looks online and really wanted to put my Essence pastel liners to use. That's how this look came about. I actually like it, even though it's not my usual cup of tea. I always think that pastels look better on someone with lighter eye color and blonde hair.

I started my eye makeup by applying eye primer and setting it with nude eye shadow. Then I added light brown to the crease as a transition shade. I applied pastel mint shade on the center of the lid. I took pastel lavender shade and applied it in the crease.

Then I added pastel lavender eyeliner in a winged like shape and tried to make it bolder to really stand out. I also used dark purple gel liner and slightly deepened around my lash line, but I tried to make it not very visible. Around my bottom lash line I applied creamy peach eye shadow.

Then I went over it with bright ocher yellow shade. I also used light yellow gold shade in the inner corners. It was time for lots of mascara to ground these pastel shades and finished.

On my face I used very light foundation with matching concealer. I powdered my entire face. On the cheeks I used light cool toned matte pink blush. I also lightly used bronzer to balance it out with light eye shadow colors. For my highlighter I used light champagne gold shade.

As this was pastel look, I also decided to go light with my lip color and chose pastel lavender pink. The whole look is very light in general and may not be for every taste, but I quite like that as a change.

If you think it's too light, you can use bolder lipstick, like I did here. I used bright purple to make my lips stand out a bit more.

So what do you think of pastel makeup? Would you wear it or is it just not for you?

Review: Innisfree Smart Foundation Perfect Cover in 13 Light Beige

Hey Beauties!

Innisfree is the first Korean natural brand. Their products are based on natural ingredients from Jeju island. I won't go into details, buy you can read more about their brand here. I've heard that their skin care products are really popular. This foundation got me interested because of the smaller size version and perfect cover claim. It's hard to buy foundation online since you don't really get to test it out or even see if the shade fits you. That's why I like that it comes in smaller size and of course with smaller price as well.

Innisfree describes this foundation as a high coverage foundation formulated to conceal skin imperfections while leaving the skin with a dewy finish. It also contains Jeju mineral powder and green tea which help skin look healthy and alive.

It comes in a size of 15 ml and I bought it on Jolse (here) for 6.70$. You can also get it directly from their site here. Innisfree intentionally made it in the smaller version, because it means you can test it out and see if you like it without buying a huge size and then throwing it away.

It comes in a paper box. The packaging of foundation is a plastic squeeze tube, which I really like. It's practical and because of the size it's also perfect to carry around with you.

The nozzle has a very small hole and it's easy to control the amount. You can squeeze out tinniest amount possible. I love this system a lot.

Shade 13 Light Beige is actually the lightest shade in my foundation collection as well as in their range. It's definitely warm toned, but it's more of a peachy tone rather than yellow. I guess a bit of a mix, but definitely more peach toned. When I blend it into the skin it looks fine and I don't see it being as peach as it looks swatched. It matches my skin tone perfectly.

I applied it under my neck where I am really light right now and you almost don't see a difference between foundation and my natural skin. It's maybe a tiny bit darker. Peach undertone also works fine with my pale skin right now. On the left side I applied foundation and on the right side it's my bare skin.

Consistency is a bit thicker, but it blends into the skin. Sometimes I feel like it's best if you don't have a lot of moisturizer underneath or it creates a barrier on top and doesn't seem to blend into the skin as much. If you apply it in thin layer it's a very light to medium coverage, otherwise I would say that it's lighter medium coverage. It evens out skin tone, but doesn't hide red patches or under eye darkness.

This will almost accentuate pores if you have problems with them and it will also stick to dry patches and make them even more visible.

It looks very obvious in the beginning, but it blends in with your natural sebum through the day and it actually looks better than at the beginning, although it's still very noticeable foundation. It stays slightly sticky to the touch, so I always powder it. Even with translucent powder it still gives you a kind of satin or dewy finish. The skin is not matte and also not completely dewy, but it has a very soft sheen to the skin. Even if I apply thin layer of powder I can still see the sheen through it. It looks very natural and healthy in the finish, but a bit obvious because of the consistency of it.

On the left side is my skin with just moisturizer and on the right side is with Innisfree foundation.

I compared it to two of my favorite foundations. Innisfree Perfect Cover in 13 Light Beige is a very light peach toned shade that is actually the lightest of them all. Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation in 51 Light Vanilla is the yellowest or rather the most orange of them all. It's also the darkest shade and the warmest. Revlon Colorstay Combination/Oily Skin Foundation in 150 Buff is a yellow based shade and it's a bit darker than Innisfree. It might not look darker on the photo, but it oxidizes on the skin after a while. Innisfree almost looks like a mix of Bourjois and Revlon as far as the shade undertone goes. You definitely see it as warm, so yellow toned, but it also has a prevalent peach tone to it.

It has an interesting scent, which I can't decide if it's floral or herb or mint based. I feel like it's a bit of everything. Nothing offensive and you only really smell it once you're applying it.

It doesn't oxidize or turn darker with wear. It's definitely not long lasting, because it's fairy light foundation which means it will come off through the day. I don't check it through the day, but it definitely fades. It might also go a bit into fine lines or get cakey on dry or rough parts of your face. Definitely not the best natural looking foundation.

I think the name is misleading and you shouldn't count on this foundation giving you the best coverage ever, because it doesn't. I would describe it as for someone with fair skin tone that wants foundation to be luminous or kind of dewy and has a lighter medium coverage. I don't think this is appropriate for oily skin, those with enlarged pores or mature skins. It's a natural brand which should be taken into consideration if you're on a search for a "healthier" foundation and it's not all that bad. I mostly love it because of the fair shade and the luminous sheen, which I've embraced this spring. My only wish would be that it would look a bit less obvious on the skin and wouldn't gather in fine liner. Coverage doesn't bother me at all, I quite like it to be lighter for spring.

Review: Avon True Colour Matte Eyeshadow Quad - Au Naturale

Hey Beauties!

I like Avon Eyeshadow Quads and have quite a few of those. Mocha Latte was my first quad palette and I especially loved two matte shades in there, so when I saw that they came out with three all matte quads I was really excited. Au Naturale is the most neutral brownish palette and I absolutely love it.

All their quads have a shiny black plastic packaging. It's compact and closes well. It's also great for travelling, because it's small.

You get double sided foam applicator, but I never use these any way.

Regular price of these is 10.60€, but they are almost always on offers for less.

Au Naturale is neutral brown palette. The shades are also very neutral. They're not too warm neither too cool.

Shade 1 - warm nude.
Shade 2 - warm taupe light brown.
Shade 3 - neutral chocolate medium brown.
Shade 4 - dark chocolate cool brown.

Texture is very silky and on the dry side, but I notice that these mattes are a bit more wet than those from Mocha Latte. They are a bit crumbly, because of the drier texture and you might experience some fall out. Just tap the brush before applying on the lids and it will be good.

I also noticed that these mattes are very pigmented, actually more than most of their mattes from other quads. Shades blend really well. They are also buildable. The more you put on the darker the shade. On the bottom you can see how light there are with just one swatch, while on the upper photo you'll see that they can be build up to a really dark shade.

Shadows stay on me the whole day with minimal fading. I always use them with Avon Ideal Flawless eye shadow primer. I also didn't experience any creasing through the day. Only if I work out, then they will go a bit into the crease, but that's with all eye shadows I wear.

I also compared two shades from Au Naturale to two matte shades from Mocha Latte, because I was curious if they're identical and they're actually not. Shade 2 from Au Naturale has a more visible yellow undertone, while Shade 2 from Mocha Latte has a bit more taupe or purple based shade.  They are both similar, but not quite dupes.

I also compared Shade 3 from Au Natural with Shade 4 from Mocha latte and 3 is darker than 4 and also a bit cooler, while 4 is much more red based and warmer.

I already showed you how these shades look like in my All Brown Matte Makeup post.

I also used it in other makeup to show you that it can look a bit less intense, if you don't apply it as heavily.

I'm really glad Avon decided to add some all matte palettes, because I've been loving the two from Mocha Latte and actually wished for more brown matte shades from them. These are nicely pigmented, a bit crumbly, stay well on the lids and don't crease. Pigmentation is not out of this world, but to me this means that it's more wearable and blendable. I really like this Au Naturel selection, especially the fact that they're not too warm nor too cool. Definitely recommend it to those that want staple neutral matte palette with decent quality.

*The product was sent to me.

Avon četverci senčil so mi zelo všeč in imam jih kar nekaj.

Odtenek 1 - topla nude.
Odtenek 2 - topla sivkasto svetlo rjava.

Odtenke senčil sem vam že pokazala v moji objavi All Brown Matte Makeup.

Review: Avon Gel Shine Nail Enamels - Whole Collection

Hey Beauties!

I was offered a chance to try the whole Avon Gel Shine collection and of course, I couldn't resist. So today I'm introducing you to all the shades from this collection. They've just added 6 new shades as well as top coat.

These nail polishes should give you gel like manicure as in salon, but without having to use UV light and having trouble taking it off. New formula with nourishing omega oils promises to give you intense color with one coat and even more shine

Color range is huge and has a bit of everything. You can choose among 20 different shades. It goes from neutrals to pastels to bright vibrant colors and some darker ones.

Most of nail polishes have a standard creme finish with some exceptions that also have a bit of shimmer in them. Lighter shades definitely need at least two coats to cover the nail and not look streaky, while some darker ones can be worn with just one coat

They are all very shiny and I would agree with Avon that they do look like gel nails, especially if you apply top coat over it.

Formula is creamy and it depends from shade to shade. Not too runny nor too thick. Brush is standard straight cut and medium wide

They all dry fairly quickly. I've already had a few shades from this collection and they weren't as long lasting as some other nail polishes from their range. I've decided to try out one of their newly added shades with the combination of top coat and it surprised me how well it lasted on me. Today it's fourth day of wear and I have minimal chipping only on my both index fingers and one middle finger. It might be because of the new improved formula or top coat, which made it last longer. I'll report on that, when I try it some more. As I've said before I have very weak nails prone to chipping.

Let's see how the shades looks like on the nails. I've tried to describe them as best as I could and also tell you if my camera picked it up differently than it looks like in real life. On the left side are swatches with one coat and on the right side are swatches with two coats.

Iceberg White - very light grey toned white. It needs at least two coats and has creme finish.

Sheer Love - pastel pink. It's a mix of creme and sheer. It needs at least two coats.

Dazzle Pink - salmon pink with duo chrome white and pink shimmer. Shimmer finish and it needs at least two coats.

Barely There - pastel grey brown. It's creme finish and needs at least two coats.

Mint To Be - pastel mint. My camera didn't wanted to pick up true color of it on the swatches photo. It's a bit more green tinted, kind of as it looks like on the first photo with just nail polish. Creme finish and needs two coats.

Rain Washed - cool pastel blue. Again having problems with photographing it. The swatches photo is more true to a real shade. Creme finish and needs two coats.

Lavender Sky - pastel lavender purple. It's creme finish and it needs two coats.

Citronized - warm lime green. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Orange You Crazy - bright orange. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Fabulous - red based pink. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Parfait Pink - medium pink. Creme finish with small amount of tiny silver shimmer. It needs two coats.

Verry Berry - berry pink. On the photo it looks more red, while in real life it's a tiny bit more purple toned. Creme finish and one thick coat can be enough.

Mauvelous - medium mauve. Creme finish and one thick coat can be enough.

Purplicious - warm dark purple. It's a bit more warm toned than it looks like on the photo. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Fire Cracker - bright orange red. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Roses Are Red - bright red. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Red Velvet - medium burgundy with tiny gold shimmer. Pearlescent finish and it needs two coats.

Wine And Dine Me -  oxblood. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Emerald City - medium emerald. Another one of those colors that my camera doesn't want to pick up properly. It looks a lot more green based in real life. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Sapphired Up - cobalt blue. Creme finish and it needs two coats.

Top Coat

To coat is suppose to make your manicure last two times longer and prevent chipping or peeling. As I've mentioned before I used it with Mint To Be and I wore nail polish for four days with no problem. I think it might be that top coat actually helped prolong the wear of my manicure.

It's on the runny side and I didn't notice that it would smudge my color underneath. I also noticed that it did make my nails shiny, but the colored nail polishes are really shiny on its own as well, so the difference wasn't too obvious.

On the left side is Mint To Be without top coat and on the right side it's with top coat.

Regular price of nail polishes is 5.90€, but currently they're on offer for 4.90€ and you can even buy more of them for less here.

Regular price of top coat is also 5.90€, but currently you can get it for 4.90€here.

I love the shade range of Gel Shine nail polishes and I was really surprised how well they lasted on me with top coat. They have a nice creamy formula and dry fairly quickly. I especially like pastel shades like Rain Washed, Mint To Be and Lavender Sky. I also really like bright summery shades like Citronized, Orange You Crazy and Fire Cracker. Mauvelous gets the most unique shade title in my opinion. I also love Purplicious, which is darker, but looks nicely bright in its own way. Wine And Dine With Me reminds me so much (in fact it can be a dupe) of Maybelline Colorama 261, which I've worn all through the fall. What are your favorite shades?

Now you also have a chance to win a whole range of these nail polishes. Avon Slovenia is having a photo contest on their Facebook page. All you have to do is take a creative photo inspired by Avon nail polishes. It can be your favorite nail polish shade, manicure or nail art. You can upload your photo here and have a chance to get enough nail polishes to last you a life time.

Avon was also very kind to let me have a giveaway on my blog. I will give away five of my favorite nail polish shades from Gel Shine range, which are Rain Washed, Mint To Be, Citronized, Orange You Crazy and Purplicious.

Pred kratkim so dodali v kolekcijo še 6 novih odtenkov in nadlak.

Nova formula z negovalnimi omega olji obljublja intenzivno barvo z enim samim nanosom in še več sijaja.

Ostali so vsi še v precej dobrem stanju.

Iceberg White - rahlo sivkasto bel. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Sheer Love - pastelno roza. Rahlo bolj prozoren in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Dazzle Pink - losos roza.
Barely There - pastelno sivkasto rjava. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Mint To Be - pastelno mint. Moj fotoaparat noče ujeti pravega odtenka. V resnici je veliko bolj zelenkasta podlaga modre. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Rain Washed - hladna pastelno modra. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Lavender Sky - pastelno sivka vijolična. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Citronized - topel limeta zelen. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Orange You Crazy - živo oranžen. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Fabulous - rdečkasto roza. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Parfait Pink - srednje roza. Kremni finiš z majhnimi sivimi bleščicami in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Fire Cracker - živo oranžno rdeča. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Roses Are Red - živo rdeča. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Red Velvet - srednje vijolično rdeča z zelo majhnim zlatim šimrom.  Potrebuje dva nanosa.
Wine And Dine Me -  rjavo temno rdeča. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Emerald City - srednje smaragdno zelena. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.
Sapphired Up - živo modra. Kremni finiš in potrebuje dva nanosa.

Nadlak

Podelila bom pet mojih najljubših odtenkov in sicer Rain Washed, Mint To Be, Citronuzed, Orange You Crazy in Purplicious.

Meni so še posebej všeč pastelni odtenki kot so Rain Washed, Mint To Be in Lavender Sky. Wine And Dine With Me me spominja (mogoče je celo enak) na Maybelline Colorama 261, ki sem ga nosila skozi celotno jesen. Kateri pa je vaš najljubši odtenek?

Review: Golden Rose Vision Lipstick - Shade 123

Hey Beauties!

I promised you this review a very long time ago. It must have been somewhere in fall that I bought it and I think the season influenced my shade choice. This is a really nice and very affordable lipstick.

Lipstick comes in a plastic shiny black packaging and it's a bit flimsy and cheap feeling. It closes securely and so far it works fine. It has gold writing and small transparent part in the middle that let's you see the lipstick shade that is inside.

It costs only 3.10€ and in it is 4.2 grams of products.

Shade 123 is like a burnt orange shade. I would describe it as medium orange brown. It actually looks dark on me, but could be a nude shade for dark skin tones.

I asked the girl at the counter, which of their lipsticks are popular and she told me the matte ones as well as these Vision ones. Since my lips get really dry in fall and winter, I decided to go for Vision lipstick with Vitamin E.

It's creme finish and has a nice shine to it. Pigmentation is good and with one swipe you get a light wash of shade. The more coats you apply, the darker it looks.

Even though it's a creme finish, it's still very long lasting. I feel like with wear it gets a bit more semi matte and it almost drys on the lips and kind of creates a stain, which prolongs the wear of it.

I also like that it's very comfortable to wear. Yes, you feel it on the lips, but it's almost like a heavier lip balm and my lips never get dry with it.

The scent is somewhat strong and not fruity or sweet at all. I would say it's also not artificial, but I can't describe it. You don't smell it while wearing, so it's not a big deal.

I also compared it to my other lipstick shades and none of them could be a dupe for it. Avon 3D Plumping Lipstick in Cantaloupe comes closest to  123 shade, but it's lighter and a lot peachier.

I adore this shade so much. It's like the perfect colored brown for my skin tone, since it has that warm orange undertone. Some would call it a perfect fall shade, which I suppose it is, but it's also a nice colored twist on those 90s browns.

The packaging is a bit cheap, but the product itself is amazing. It's creamy, has a bit of shine, lasts really well and it's super comfortable on the lips. I couldn't have chosen better shade than 123, since it really suits my skin tone and even more my hair color. It's more of a darker shade on me and I love burnt orange tone of it. It's also so cheap. If only we would have this store near me. I would definitely get some more shades and maybe even tried some of their other lipstick ranges.

Must Have Beauty Tools

Hey Beauties!

Today I'll talk about the beauty tools that I think every beauty lover needs. I realize I haven't talked about certain products, which I don't get to mention in my makeup looks or reviews, but are crucial to how my end result looks like.

Eyelash curler is an absolute must have of mine. Even if I don't apply my makeup, I'll at least curl my lashes to looks semi descent. It's a must have beauty tool for anyone that isn't naturally blessed with curled lashes (if you are, good for you and I envy you). If you're lashes are short, curling them, will make them look longer. If you're mascara doesn't do anything for your lashes, curl them before you apply the mascara and the result will be mind blowing. So many of people that I know are still terrified of this tool. It's not a torture tool, but it can make your lashes look so much better. I feel like if you do your eye makeup perfect and don't have curled lashes, it just doesn't look as pretty and pulled together.

I have a Shu Uemura one. At the beginning I didn't really like it as much, because I had to get used to the shape. Now I really like it and I feel like I can get a really nice curl. I've heard good things about Shiseido curler as well. Before I also had Tana eyelashes curlers, which I'm not sure if they are still available. Those were nice too.

Essence and Look by Bipa Spoolie

Ok, this must not seem like a must have product for all you Cara Delevingne brow owners, but everyone else needs this. I use it whenever I do my brows. I brush my brows so I can see better where to fill in and where not. My brows also like to point down and in multiple directions, so this helps me to get the better shape in general. I've hear some fun statements on Instagram like: She brushes her brows, but doesn't brush her hair. That actually happens to me a lot. Especially if I air dry my hair, I forget to brush them, but I never forget to brush my brows if I go out. Are you like that too? If you're brows are also going in multiple directions, use a spoolie and spray it with some hair spray and brush through the brows to shape and set them.

I really like my Look by Bipa spoolie, which has just the perfect density and is white, so I can easily clean it and see when it's clean. Since this one is really old and the glue doesn't hold it in place anymore I also got one from Essence, which has a comb on the other side. Comb is perfect for brushing through your lashes to prevent them from clumping up.

Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezer Lavender

While we're on the topic of brows, let's talk about the shape of them. If you grew up in the 90s, you've learned the lesson of how horrible over plucking them can be. The brows got a lot of attention in previous year and it's all about fuller brows, so obviously you shouldn't pluck them too much. That being said, I hate those little brows that grow out of my usual line and I pluck them immediately. To tell you the truths, I'm a bit obsessed with plucking those stray brow hair. The first thing that I do when I wake up is that I look in the mirror and see if any unwanted brow has grown in the night. I also think it makes you eye makeup look cleaner.

I don't know what I was doing before I got Tweezerman tweezers. Those are seriously the best tweezers I've ever tried. They are able to pull out the tiniest hair. They are sharp and very precise. You only have to pull the hair in the way that it grows, otherwise you can tear it. What I love the most about it, is the fact that I can pull out very short hair, which I couldn't with other tweezers. The fact that they are very sharp also helps with pulling out ingrown hair. Mine are mini, because full size is more expensive and I chose the lavender shade, but they have multiple pretty designs.

Ebelin Precision Makeup Egg and Mini Eggs

If you hate the look of foundations on your skin, because you don't like the heavy look of them, try applying them with a makeup sponge. Makeup sponges are a great tools to make your makeup look natural. You damp them and then apply foundation on with them or just use them after you've applied foundation and it will blend it into the skin and make it look a lot more natural and less heavy. I find makeup sponges to be one of the best makeup tools. They really make a difference. You can use them to blend in anything - foundation, concealer, cream blushes, cream highlighters, you can bake with loose powders... Multiple uses and the finished effect is always natural. It's also the easiest way of applying foundation. If you struggle to use brushes or hate the lines that you may have after applying it with fingers, just use makeup sponge. Anyone can do it.

I use Ebelin Precision Makeup Egg, which is the same shape as Beauty Blender (the most known makeup sponge). It has a nice foam, which is not too dense or hard and not too soft. It's the perfect hardness and it gets bigger once you run it under the water. I find that it dries nicely. It does have some stains in it, which are harder to clean, especially if you use very long lasting foundations.  I also have the minis which are so cute. I like to use these to blend my concealer under the eyes. This prevents it from looking too heavy and going into fine lines. I also previously used Nanshy makeup sponge, which was really good as well.

You probably know that makeup can develop a lot of bacteria. Especially if you apply it with your hands, which are not always clean or the makeup is a bit old. One thing you need to do every now and then is disinfect it. There's nothing better to do this with than an alcohol. Better yet, isopropyl alcohol, which is 99.7% alcohol and is used in medicine. It evaporates very quickly and it won't disturb your makeup formulas at all. It will just kill all the bacteria. I like to spray this all over my makeup like eye shadow palettes, blushes, highlighters and lipsticks. Especially if I'll be using it on someone else. You're usually using your makeup with brushes going back and forth. The oils and previous makeup can easily be found on your brush as well as any existing bacteria. Cleaning it also means that you'l prevent it from going bad a lot longer. Obviously you can also use this on makeup brushes, although it's better to deep clean those with shampoos or soaps.

I already showed you how I make my brush and makeup cleaner here

Here I'm not talking about the fact that you need to brush your hair, but what with do you need to brush it. Tangle Teezer. It's absolutely the best hair tool for anyone that has split ends, coarse hair or nest in the back. This is the only hair brush that doesn't pull on my hair. If you're hair is really tangled, you'll feel some pulling, but it's nothing compared to regular hair brushes. You can also use it on wet hair and it's very easy to clean. It's all made out of rubber and plastic, so you can easily wash it with soap or shampoo and it doesn't have any holes.

I've had the black one for a while now. Ever since I got it, I haven't used any other hair brush on my hair. The pink one* I got recently. It was sent to me by Avon, who also sells original Tangle Teezer in case you didn't know. I love this bright almost neon pink shade, it's perfect for spring and also makes it a lot easier to find in the darkness of my bag. The black one is about 3 years old and it's not as shiny anymore and the rubbery teeth are not as straight as they were before, but other than that it's still very nice. This is an investment that you won't regret, I promise.

Margaret Debbs Crystal Nail File

Even if you don't paint your nails, you need to shorten them or at least shape them. Days when I used nail clippers are long gone. They can make your nails split and it's horrible to use on hard nails (not that mine are). I much prefer filing them and hear that it's actually better for your nails. You just have to use the right nail files. Diamond, glass and crystal files are a lot better than the usual old school nail files that you can get in most drugstores or just steal sand paper from your father's tool box.

I have Margaret Debbs Crystal  nail file and it's fantastic. It's not too abrasive, but has a very fine way of filing the nails. You see small white dust falling off of your nails. That being said it's pretty powerful and you can shorten your nails in no time. These sort of files should last you a life time. Every now and then you can clean them with water and they are always like new. It's the gentles and best way of filling your nails.

These are all the beauty tools that are completely irreplaceable in my everyday routine. I though I should mention these in a post and give them some credit. What are some of the tools that you can't live without?

Review: Avon Anew Essential Youth Maximising Serum and Anew Nutri-advanced Eye Cream

Hey Beauties!

I have a lot of Avon products, but I've never had anything from the Anew line, which is in my opinion a bit more anti-wrinkle targeted as well as pricier. Today's reviews are of a serum and eye cream.

Avon Anew Essential Youth Maximising Serum

It's a youth maximising serum that should help to bring the best out of a cream that you put on top, minimize the appearance of wrinkles and make skin hydrated and firm. It's a lightweight texture that soaks into the skin quickly

They also promise you visible results and after three days skin is suppose to be better looking and has a nice glow, after one week it should smooth the appearance of fine lines and make visibly smoother skin in general and after two weeks it should minimize wrinkles and any discoloration as well as make skin firmer

The packaging and design is gorgeous in my opinion. It's a rose gold metallic paper box with gold details. Tube is transparent plastic with metallic rose gold inside and gold details. The prettiest combination possible.

Pump is silver and it works fine. One pump gives you enough product for the whole face. I use one and a half pumps, because I also apply it on my neck.

The regular price of it is 27€ (currently it's on offer for 22.50€) and in it is 30 ml of product.

It's a very smooth liquid gel (almost slippery texture), orange tinted and it spreads on the skin with the utmost ease. It's really very smooth and it soaks into the skin quickly. At first it leaves behind a slightly sticky layer, but then it becomes matte. I love the texture of it.

I am also really in love with the scent and that doesn't happen often, since I'm not one of those people that likes scented skin care products. But this smells somewhat like a sweet mandarin

I've been using it for about a month and a half (and some of my other family members have also been stealing it from me) and it's on its last breathe. I'm kind of sad. That just shows you how much I like it, because I very rarely finish skin care products (except for creams).

I'm 27 years old and I don't really have a lot of wrinkles yet (fingers crossed). I have fine lines around my eyes and slightly more prominent smile line.

As far as the smoothing and minimizing of wrinkles goes, I didn't notice any visible difference. I like this serum so much because of it's hydrating effect. It really did help with my skin retaining some moisture and not feeling heavy on the skin. I also like it as a base for face creams, because it stays slightly sticky and creams seem to really stick on it and don't move. It's a very lightweight serum that is surprisingly also a bit soothing and great for my sensitive skin. It has completely replaced my must have jojoba serum. I guess it also keeps my skin firm, but as I've said before, I don't have problems with that yet.

Avon Anew Nutri-advanced Eye Cream

This is supposed to be very rich eye cream for all ages. I guess this is like a universal first step eye cream for those that need hydrating.

As with the serum, this one also has gorgeous transparent pot with silver details.

Top has nice plastic beige shade with silver ring around it. I also like that it's very small and travel friendly.

Regular price of it is 17€ (currently it's on offer for 11.90€) and in it is 15 ml of product.

It's a very rich and thick beige cream. It's probably one of the richest eye cream that I've ever owned. I love thick creams, but at first I was a bit hesitant. It was kind of hard to move it around the eye area and it still is. You need to apply good amount of it and then slowly break it down with the warmth of your fingers and tap it into the skin.

Once you massage it into the skin it becomes smoother, almost a bit greasier and it spreads nicely.

A little warning though. It says on the packaging to gently massage it around the eye area and then tap it until it absorbs. I wouldn't recommend you to massage it into the skin for a really long time or with hard pressure, because then it can start peel off and it's impossible to get it all off.

I recommend you to gently massage it for a few second and then just tap it a little and be done.

At first it stays slightly sticky, but then it absorbs into the skin and creates a very smooth layer on top of the skin.

This won't minimize your fine lines, but it will hydrate them a bit and mostly create a smooth surface for you to apply makeup on top of it. It almost feels like a silicon primer has been added to it.

It has an artificial scent, which is faint and I don't smell it once I apply it on the skin.

I really like this serum. It might not seem like much, but I love a good serum that hydrates and soothes the skin and this one does just that. I also really like smooth lightweight texture of it as well as nice scent that feels luxurious whenever I apply it. Eye cream looked very promising because of the rich texture, but it needs a bit of work and getting used to applying it. I think it should have been slightly more slippery or greasy and it would be easier to spread as well. This might be good for those that don't like greasy eye creams and want a smooth matte base. I highly recommend serum to anyone that wants something lightweight underneath their creams. I don't like eye cream as much and would not repurchase it, because I find the texture hard to work with.

Imam majhne gubice okrog oči in bolj definirane smejalne gubice.

Nisem opazila nekih vidnih rezultatov glede glajenja in zmanjševanja gub.

Ko jo masirate v kožo postane bolj gladka in skoraj malo bolj oljnata. Takrat se lažje razporedi po koži.

Majhno opozorilo.

Review: Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner

Hey Beauties!

Chemical exfoliants are extremely popular right now and with a good reason. I am not a skin care expert, but so far, I've learnt that chemical exfoliants are less abrasive on the skin (than for example physical ones - those with little micro beads in them) and more effective, because of the acids. Acids can fall into two types AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) and BHA (beta hydroxy acids). As far as I've studied it, AHAs get rid of dead skin cells on your skin layer, while BHAs also go into the pores and clean those as well. If I'm wrong, be sure to correct me.

Pixi Glow Tonic is a very raved about product, especially in the UK thanks to skin care expert Caroline Hirons. It's enriched with glycolic acid, which falls into the AHA category of acids. This is suppose to brighten, tone and condition your skin after cleansing it. It's also suppose to sooth and hydrate the skin.

It contains glycolic acid - derivative of sugar cane, aloe vera, ginseng, witch hazel and horse chestnut.

It comes in a plastic orange tinted transparent packaging, which is very simple. It has small hole that lets you pour out the liquid onto a cotton pad and then you just swipe it across the face. It doesn't really spill any product, if you use it with cotton pad.

Details are mint colored and it has gold writing on it. Very simplistic design.

I got it for 18£ on Cult Beauty and you get 250 ml of it.

Previously I've only tried Clarins Gentle Exfoliator Brightening Toner as my first chemical exfoliator and I liked it, but it was suppose to be used only two times a week, since it was stronger. As I was looking for something that I could use daily in the morning and evening, Pixi Glow Tonic was very recommended choice.

It's a transparent liquid. The scent is kind of floral fruity. It's not bad at all and not too invasive, (tolerable).

This is also targeted for sensitive skin and mine definitely is. I don't feel any tingling sensation or irritation at all. It's very gentle on the skin and definitely appropriate for all skin types in my opinion. It feels very hydrating on the skin and you can feel a layer of something on it. It's not one of those super light sink in products. It dries down to a matte finish. After the use, skin is smoother on the touch, but I wouldn't say it's as effective in this as Clarins. I mostly like it for the hydrating properties, since I feel like it really brings back some moisture to the skin right after cleansing it. It also soothes the skin a bit. Especially if you've been abusing pimples or have a bit of redness. As far as being brightening goes, I haven't notice huge difference. It might have slightly helped with my darker areas around the mouth, but definitely didn't erase them completely.

I don't find it as mind blowing as some describe it. To me this is a good starter chemical exfoliant for those that haven't use any of it before. It's also good for those with sensitive skin. It will make your skin a bit smoother and it will also hydrate it. I would use this as a toner in the morning and evening.

I got into chemical exfoliants, because I've been noticing more and more bumps on my face. They look like clogged pores and uneven texture on the skin. I've also had some milia in the past. Those are basically mini cysts of keratin. They look like white dots stuck under the layer of skin and you can't pop them out. They are actually hard inside and need to be removed with professional help. Since I don't want this to keep popping up on my skin, I've heard that chemical exfoliants are a must have. I've recently bought a BHA liquid from COSRX and am a lot happier with it and its effectiveness. Pixi glow is becoming a bit too gentle and basic for me and for what I need to achieve with those products.

Pixi Glow Tonic is a nice starter chemical exfoliant for those that want smoother and hydrated skin. It's also good for sensitive skin and it soothes the skin a bit. It's a nice every day use tonic to keep your skin at check, if you naturally don't have many problems with it. For me personally it's not as strong and effective as I would like it to be. I would also recommend you to try Clarins, if you're looking for a next step up from Pixi, since I feel it is a bit stronger and makes skin even smoother.

Review: Kiko Radiant Touch Creamy Stick Highlighter 100 Gold

Hey Beauties!

I bought this highlighter a long time ago and kind of forgot about it. Since spring has been all about the glow, I've dusted it off and started using it again. It's such a nice natural, yet still shiny highlighter and I am in love with it right now.

It comes in a black matte plastic stick form. The writing is silver. Cap closes with a little click and it's well made.

It costs 8.50€ and in it is 10 grams of product.

You just twist the bottom half and the product comes out. Sometimes it doesn't want to fall back down, so I have to manually push it down. That is the only negative thing about it.

Kiko has two different shades 100 Gold and 101 Rose. I obviously went with 100 Gold

Gold is actually a nice champagne shade. It's not too warm nor cool. Something like this would look good on pretty much most skin tones. I would say it has a bit of a peachier base with almost silver reflecting particles. Shimmer in it is very small, but is visible, if you apply only one layer. The more you layer it the more uniformed it looks.

With one swipe you get a sheer, but shiny layer that blends into the skin nicely. I find that this works good on top of foundations, but you need to blend out the edges, especially if you swipe it on straight from the bullet, it might leave streaks.

Pigmentation is good, but it has some sheerness to it. If you layer it, you can get really intense highlight that still looks a part of your skin.

It's a balm like texture that has enough slip to apply on the skin, but doesn't feel greasy. It has no scent.

It's also very long lasting for a creamy product. I wear it all through the day, it just looses intensity and starts to look more like skin, when it mixes with my natural oils.

Demonstration shows you how my skin looks like with just foundation, swipe of highlighter straight from the bullet and blended out.

It gives a really nice glow to the skin, which is definitely not as intense as with powder highlighters and somewhat looks like skin. You can still build it up to a pretty nice intense glow. On the photo you can see it on tops of my cheeks and above the arch of my brow.

I love how practical this is to carry with you as well as applying. You just swipe it on and blend it out with fingers. It also looks like a part of your skin, especially when you skin's natural oils come through and it still gives a pretty noticeable glow.

I also compared it to my other highlighters and I have to say Kiko's is the most natural looking shade of them all. The Balm Mary-Lou Manizer is obviously the most yellow toned and it's definitely pretty, especially paired with warm makeup and undertones. Essence Soo Glow! Cream to Powder Highlighter in 010 Look on the Bright Side is a much more stark white shade. I also compared it to Essence I Heart Nude Eyeshadow in 03 Creme Brulee, which is also a nice natural highlight. This one is less shiny with much more subtle sheen and it's also a tiny bit more yellow than Kiko.

I am currently in love with this highlighter. In harsh sun light something like Mary-Lou can look really intense. Kiko highlighter has a nice cream texture that blends into the skin and looks like a part of your skin. This is my favorite thing about this highlighter. It's a bit sheer and looks like a part of your skin, but still gives an intense shine for all of us highlighter freaks. It's not too metallic or too shimmery. The shade is perfect mix of warm base and cool shimmer. It would look good on warm as well as cool skin tones. For a cream product this is very long lasting and super practical for when you're in a rush. I am seriously impressed with this one and it has become my staple product lately. Definitely recommend you to take a look, if you're ever in Kiko store.

Review: Freedom Makeup Pro Decadence Today's Tonight Eyeshadow Palette

Hey Beauties!

In all the flood of new makeup launches is sometimes hard to keep up. Freedom Makeup is especially up to date with all the new trends and constantly revamping their range and adding new items. I got two of their products and so far I like them both. Today's review will be of their Pro Decadence Today's Tonight eyeshadow palette

It's a fairly neutral eyeshadow palette with 20 different eyeshadow shades. The box that it comes in, is copper metallic look alike. Very eye catching. Underneath it's a basic black shiny box for added security.

Palette itself is some what standard black shiny plastic. It's sturdy and fingertip magnet. With the eyeshadows also comes double ended sponge applicator which I never use.

It costs 10.95€, in it is 18 grams of product and you can get it on licila.si or on their official online store here

On the lid part there's also a mirror. I am not one of those that gets really excited and thinks that mirror is a must have on every product. If there ain't any, I'm not bothered by it. But for some reason I really like it in this palette, because I can fold it in half and get really close to the mirror while applying on eye makeup. It's also quite big for all of us who need to be touching the mirror to actually see what we're doing.

Eyeshadow range looked a bit boring to me, when I first opened it. The colors seemed muted, but once I applied each shade on the lid, it looked so much prettier than in the pan. This palette has mostly neutral shades with certain pops of colors, which are still a bit muted and very wearable

1 - matte neutral skin like beige. It's more dry with just a touch of wetness and has good pigmentation.
2 - shimmery warm champagne nude. It has a wet creamy texture and good pigmentation.
3 - matte warm light brown. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
4 - shimmery warm medium brown. In the pan it looks more taupe. It has wet texture and crazy good pigmentation.
5 - matte warm dirty pink (brown pink). It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
6 - shimmery warm light brown. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
7 - shimmery cool dark brown (taupe based). It has wet texture and crazy good pigmentation.
8 - cool grey with chunky shimmer. It has dry texture and good pigmentation.
9 - matte black. It has wet texture and crazy good pigmentation.
10 - blue based greyish black with chunks of glitter. It has wet texture and crazy good pigmentation.
11 - matte warm yellow toned beige. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
12 - matte warm very light brown. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
13 - matte warm light burgundy (almost looks like dirty brown red). It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
14 - matte cool taupe brown. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
15 - shimmery warm very light champagne beige. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
16 - shimmery warm brown. It's very similar to 4, but has a lot less sheen, is less metallic and slightly more yellow based. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
17 - matte cool light lavender (very grey based). It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
18 - matte cool dark violet (grey based). It has wet texture and good pigmentation.
19 - shimmery warm light cranberry red. It has wet texture and crazy good pigmentation.
20 - cool dark brown with red and purple shimmer. It has a very purple sheen which makes it look warm. It has wet texture and good pigmentation.

I was really impressed by the quality of eye shadows. Actually quite shocked, because I didn't expect much from it. They have a really wet buttery texture. Matte shades are really pigmented and blend with such ease that is unheard of drugstore eye shadows. Some really shimmery shades almost seem like they're creams and not even powders anymore. They just feel so incredibly buttery and wet to the touch. Those shades are 4, 7, 9, 10 and 19.

Matte shades blend really well, while some glittery shades might loose intensity with blending. For those shimmery and really creamy shades is almost better to pack them on the lid with fingers. Especially if you're doing a look with shimmery shade in the center of the lid.

Matte shades are obviously a bit more crumbly, but they almost don't have any fallout. The same goes for other shimmery creamier shades. Some that have bigger chunks of glitter might have that glittery fallout and you need to be careful with them.

They don't really get into creases, except for those really buttery ones that feel like creams. Those may get in crease after a long day of wear.

If there's one negative thing to say about these eyeshadows is that they fade through the day. They don't have the lasting power of high end eye shadows. If you want super intense eye shadows than I probably wouldn't get this for you, but if you're looking for something on the budget with amazingly buttery eye shadows, good pigmentation and fairly neutral tones then this is definitely the palette to go for.

Now let's see a couple of makeup looks I did. I always try to use all the shades in makeup looks to show you how they actually look like on skin.

The palette pleasantly surprised me with buttery and pigmented quality of eye shadows. This palette has a range of neutrals for your every day use. The shades blend with ease and some have almost creamy texture to them. They are on the muted, neutral side and are definitely not super vibrant or intense. I would recommend this to someone that wants affordable, really good quality and understated choice of neutral eye shadows.

Zelo vabljiva.

Če ga ni, me to pač ne moti.

Odtenki v paleti izgledajo bolj umazani in dolgočasni.

3 - mat toplo svetlo rjav odtenek. Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
4 - šimrast topel srednje rjav odtenek. V paleti izgleda bolj sivkast. Ima mokro teksutro in noro dobro pigmentacijo.
5 - mat toplo umazano roza (rjavo roza) odtenek. Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
6 - šimrast topel svetlo rjav odtenek. Ima mokro tekstuor in je dobro pigmentiran.
7 - šimrast hladno temno rjav (s sivo podlago) odtenek.
10 - sivkasto črna z modro podlago in večjimi bleščicami.
11 - mat topel bež odtenek z rumenim podtonom. Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
12 - mat toplo svetlo rjav odtenek. Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
13 - mat toplo svetlo rdeče rjav odtenek. Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
14 - mat hladno sivo rjav odtenek.
17 - mat hladno svetlo sivka vijoličen odtenek (z zelo sivim podtonom). Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
18 - mat hladno temno vijoličen (tudi s sivo podlago). Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
19 - šimrasto topel svetlo brusnično rdeč odtenek. Ima mokro teksturo in je dobro pigmentiran.
20 - hladno temno rjav odtenek z rdečimi in vojličnimi bleščicami.

Senčila so me resnično navdušila. Pravzaprav šokirala, ker nisem pričakovala veliko od njih. Imajo zelo kremasto gladko teksturo. Nekateri res bleščeči odtenki so skoraj kremaste teksture, niti več niso podobni pudrom. Imajo izjemno gladek in moker občutek, če se jih dotaknemo v paleti. Ti odtenki so 4, 7, 9, 10 in 19.

Paleta me je prijetno presenetila z gladko in dobro pigmentirano kvaliteto senčil. Ta paleta vsebuje precej nevtralen nabor za vsakodnevno uporabo. Odtenki se zabrisujejo z lahkoto in nekateri so kar kremasti. Vsi odenki so bolj umirjeni in vsekakor niso živi.
